In The Yards

The 110th National Western Stock Show took place in Denver, Colorado in January 2016. It is arguably the most important and prestigious livestock show in the country. People gather from around the country, and Canada, to show and sell their livestock. Some cattle were shown and displayed in the same yards in as the first stock show in 1906. In 2022, the entire grounds and historic “yards” were renovated as part of a massive investment and infrastructure upgrade to the area. These are some of the last photographs documenting the use of the site before the modernization.
